Make sure that the newer driver is removed first. Meanwhile, keep looking out on Dell's website for a new driver for this old adapter in the future, however it might never be updated though. Invest and install a new network adapter if a PCI port is available and use this adapter instead.
Make sure that there is a driver available for this adapter that supports Windows 10. An external USB network adapter can also be used (but might not be as fast as the PCI one). If Windows 10 is not that important for you: Downgrade Windows 10 back to your previous windows version!
